LIKE THE WIND
Round the body of the earth I move
Tirelessly - painlessly.
Searching for a space to occupy,
And there is always a space for me.
Like the wind!
Everyone receives me.
Where you are does not matter -
If you need me you will see me.
The children rejoices when I come around,
And the wretched embraces me with true love.
The lonely calls out after me
And in seconds I respond.
The broken heart is about to weep in silence
And here I come again to make her smile.
The lowly shows me appreciation
And I am proud of me -
The wicked trembles when my eye stares at his
And I wonder why.
Like the wind; not like man.
He may be there but I am always there.
